Travel How to get to Brest Convention Center?

All roads lead to Finistère, literally the end of the earth. You’ll know when you’ve arrived if you start swimming.

Getting to Brest by air

Brest has an international airport that serves a growing number of destinations, but probably not yours directly. In many cases, you’ll have to go via Paris (Charles de Gaulle or Orly).
From Brest airport, shuttle buses (line 20) take you from the airport to the tramway. From there, you can take the tramway directly to the city center (the “Liberté” stop is right next to the Quartz convention center). All for less than 2 euros.
Cabs are also an option (there is no Uber in Brest) but not for 40 euros.

Getting to Brest by land

Brest’s train station (SNCF) will be completely renewed in July 2025. The convention center is a 3-minute walk from the train station. No doubt a preferred option for the national ITRS community. Or even for those who want to mix flying to Paris and enjoying a train ride to Brest.

Getting to Brest by sea

There are many ferries linking the United Kingdom or Ireland with Brittany - via Roscoff for example - which is 45 minutes from Brest.

Getting around the city

We will provide all delegates with a pass to get around the city, valid for the whole week, for tramways, buses, the cable-car, and other Bibus network vehicles.
